Nintendo Before NX

The Nintendo Wii U does not need saving. I know many people believe this is false, and it is an accurately far-gone conclusion. However, like the Nintendo Wii before, it is possible to finish the console’s life cycle with hits that send the Nintendo Wii U off with a bang, and ignite the success to come with the secret Nintendo NX. The key is a strong story and including the details necessary to insure Nintendo users of a bright future.

1 Afterburner – The Nintendo Wii only had games like World War 2 Aces, Disney Planes, and Tom Clancy’s Hawx. However, if you outfit Nintendo’s system with a game the straddles between arcade serious, and fun simulation, Nintendo can give the Nintendo Wii U the flight game it deserves. The important thing is to establish a heavy, online combat with cooperative play and competitive.

2 Disney’s The BFG – You only need to play games like Hook, for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System to expect such a title. Disney’s The BFG, with a strong soundtrack in place, graphics in tow, and a great story, can give the Nintendo Wii U the game it needs. If Steven Spielberg can develop a story, for Nintendo’s console only, and use all aspects of the Nintendo Wii U can give the Nintendo Wii U console the heart-filled game it has desires.

3 Street Fighter 5– It does not have to be specific or different. If Nintendo can bring Street Fighter 5, as is, and maximize Nintendo’s console power it sends a message. It is currently exclusive to the Sony Playstation 4, and the personal computer. Nintendo talk to Capcom. Get Sony to bend a little. Bring Street Fighter 5 home where it belongs.

4 A Multiplayer Local/Online Action Adventure Title– Think X-men, a title like Halo online multiplayer, or Spyborgs. Spyborgs, on the Nintendo Wii, did not have enough action. X-men and Halo have just the right amount. If Nintendo can make a deal with some company and effectively create a 16-player action adventure title for on, or offline play. The Nintendo Wii U will have fulfilled some wishes. I am thinking reintroduce a title like the Grinder, by High Voltage Software, with multiple players, a solid story, great visuals, and lots of action.

5 Turok Dinosaur Hunter – I understand this game is being remade. Bring the Nintendo Wii U, this title. Add 8-player local support, or online and add a grappling aspect to the title. Nintendo can create a game that has solid first person strengths and add a grappling feature to battle the dinosaurs face-to-face.
6 Red Dead Revolver 2- Rockstar’s title never graced a Nintendo system. In fact, none of the heavier Rockstar games made it to a Nintendo system. If Nintendo could find a way to bring this game, in all its glory, with every detail in place, the Nintendo WIi U’s sunset would be much brighter.

7 Halo/Killzone game– Nintendo needs their own flagship, first person, action game. Nintendo can give it the story and the Nintendo Wii U can provide the jumping point. It must have the details, carry the guns, and detail a tale that immerses gamers. Nintendo can also create downloadable content that can give players levels and excessive game play beyond just the first play through.

Star Wars: Twice Excited

I’d seen Star Wars, The Force Awakens, two different times. It took me a long time to consider how I felt about it. The film was not by George Lucas. No matter how much I tried to see it, it was a very different movie. It had some great shots, nice computer graphic work, strong alien concepts, diverse worlds, and a solid story. The characters in this movie, whether it was Rey, Daisy Ridley, Finn, John Boyega, or Kylo Ren, Adam Driver, were strong. You immediately understood the balance of Rey in the film. John Boyega’s character, for me, was someone to watch for in the films going forward. I loved the split within Adam Driver’s character. How could I forget Poe Dameron’s, Oscar Isaac’s, purpose in the story?

In the end, I hope these writers create arcs for all of these characters that are uplifting, but can and will pull the rug from under everyone’s feet. I enjoyed how the film felt very much like after the war. It was very much like after a World War, if it were in space. Though many compared the film to Star Wars, Episode 4, this film used the similar backdrop very well and established a different way in this universe. The surprise in the film seemed obvious when it arrived. When” it” happened, it was sad. The characters’ reactions were even better. There could be some solid foreshadowing because of it.

I loved the light saber fight scene, at the end, but wondered about one element in part of that scene. One character was not what they seemed. However, it begged a question. The definition of light saber, highlighted in Wikipedia, defined it as a weapon used by Jedi and Sith, who are skilled, and use it for combat and defense. A major character handled one, but I wondered what their part was going to be in this film series. It might not be anything. Different rules are could be applied in this universe. However, it would be cool if something more could be made of the character. Star Wars, The Force Awakens, is solid. It just needed to be solid.

Guardians of the Galaxy is Not The Avengers…In Space

It is a story in its own skin. That is what Guardians of the Galaxy represents. I look at Bradley Cooper, who played Rocket, in the film. The actor came in and took on a feral character, with a mad man’s tendency, and plays it to enjoy it, and create depth. The idea that he could play, or might be up for, a part in the Indiana Jones films, in the future, is exciting.

Though, if Indiana Jones passes the torch, to a different character, in Indiana Jones’ world, that Bradley Cooper can play, as his own role, with stories and adventures, it might be really great. Indiana Jones is his own character and shares parts of his story in the cinema. A Bradley Cooper adventurer could do the same. It is, after all, about the character, and those differences, that make entertainment.

Guardians of the Galaxy is solid. The characters, from Chris Pratt, as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana, as Gamora, Bradley Cooper, as Rocket, Dave Bautista, as Drax and Vin Diesel, as Groot, work in the galaxy, as a close-knit group, and tell the story of five individuals, who combine their causes, in order to save the universe. Each actor, and actress, along with supporting characters, play and enjoy their parts.

It is this aspect of the film, just in space, that makes it better. It seems routine. While some characters, and aliens, look peculiar, the movie does the job and tells the story of the five individuals who rise to the call of a great threat. It is fun. It is unique. It is epic, but usual. The action in the film is good. The comedy in the film is above, and over, what you would expect. I really like this movie, however dread what it represents.

There are two concerns. One concern is more copycat films, in space, may come out of Hollywood. I mean the bad copycat, but look; it is like your movie experience previously. I hope it is clear Guardians of the Galaxy is not a remake. It is an experience for those actors, actresses, and for the cinema, at the time. Move on to the next picture.

It also represents more of what Hollywood needs in bigger movies. This movie is in space. It does not apologize for it, but embraces it. It has characters with complex lives, which also mirrors the different aspects of every individual. The story plays, the adventure roles forward and nothing is too extreme. It is just what people need to see.

I see this movie and I go back to what Green Lantern, as a movie, represents. It is great because it is the first Green Lantern film on the big screen. It is also a series of three-dimensional tests and almost opportunities in both character, and style. Guardians of the Galaxy plays, is fun, does not change what it says, and asks the audience to sit back and enjoy a movie for what the content represents, a good story from the comic book world.

I had come to see the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The movie is cool. I found it interesting that the evil infestation, in this movie, had come from within a “decent” organization and corruption, of the whole, creates a new path for all those it affects.

In an initial movie, Captain America fights evil with a specific intent to create, an initiate, a new peaceful world. The reality is Captain America will fight, and fight, but will only beat back this evil, temporarily. The evil will exist forever. The evil will redefine itself, turn it over and rise to counter good and get to its own outcome, a new world of evil hope. The reality of evil is good will forever fight the evil.

In a galaxy far, far away, the reactions to the Emperor’s fall into a reactor shaft, on the Death Star, sets a possible end to the reign of the Empire, the end of evil. There is some relief at the end of Return of the Jedi. It is finally over. The man with the power-driven talons is gone. What excites me is just what could spark a new Sith arrival. The fear of not punishing, and not stopping evil, creeps up our spines. New youthful faces, and wiser, past characters will draw new lines in the sand. It’s not done?

The relationships and emotions, in these films, will drive many viewers to connect, or not, to a new era of good versus evil. Sith might battle the Jedi.

The actors will work hard, the screenplay will flow, and the film direction will drive everyone to see these new Star Wars films as just simple pieces or new classics. It is bad to want it, but the Sith, the dark side, might come back, even harder, to remind everyone peace is a privilege. I love the idea this is happening. Everyone who loves Star Wars does.

It is rewritten. The acting happens as we speak. Light sabers might clash. The creatures come to life. The droids ignite. The worlds come to life. There is something about this time and space. The right motives, or wrong motives, will write this story. Characters will take a stand.

Come December 2015, the movie screen will be ready, the story will play out, a hand, in the dark, and one in the light, will shock the universe. The peanut butter, chocolate and other sweet treats will enlighten out senses, the buttery popcorn will warm our hands, and cold drinks will quench our thirst and emphasize our real chills. Star Wars is back.

An Amish United States President?

An Amish representative could lead the United States of America. Why? If the Amish could elect a small group of individuals, in their Ordnung to exist with “the English”, to represent prominent positions of power in the United Stated of America, it could be a culture shock for the United States. If the United States is to represent all parts of what makes the world a great place, in a democratic state of mind, why not make positions like the President, and others, not only a position for change in this country but also educational positions for all of us.

The Amish are a part of the United States. Why not give them a position that allows their values and ways to influence the country, even if in a minor way? I think I wrote this article in order to highlight a change. The country is full of influences from so many cultures. What those individuals bring to this country positively influences everyone, why not make it so if people run for positions of power, and get elected, they also bookmark a place for the country to learn just what makes their cultures great.

The Amish work ethic, and understanding, can teach. It might not be for everyone, but the ethic applied to a political position could influence a new standard in the American work ethic. An Islamic cultural influence, and understanding, could teach the country to accept a new moral and methodological code. Any culture, with a positive purpose and direction for the country, could influence our country to reach new places in work, ethics, and ways.

Wii U World?

I own a Wii U. I am actually proud of it. I play Tekken Tag Team, at times. It is an older game, but it’s crisp, efficient, has competition online and true character customization. Wii U, as a whole, I wish to have more games that use the components in the Nintendo Wii U.

In short, there is no existence of a Wii U World but the console has the ability, within itself, it seems to create, extend and add-on to video game worlds.

Let me explain. Zombi U is a fun game. It’s got action, scares, plenty of action and depth. In all, it’s an early show piece for the Nintendo Wii U. The Wii U console has many characteristics that could add to the game. The Nintendo Wii U can go online.

The question is why can’t players, after their Zombi invasion, and experience, go online to compete, or cooperate, in missions to take down parts of the game, in the continuing invasion, or compete in simple human versus human, or Zombi versus human, etc., games?

The Miiverse, a communication system on Wii U, could be a place for Zombi U players to communicate, and come up with strategies, and take down Zombis online or simply exchange customized weapons and experiences.

Nintendoland, one of the first titles for the Wii U, has communication online but no online multi-player. The game could have killed with this idea and the ability to load new games. Players could vote for new games, and decide whether they stay in Nintendoland. Players could have the ability to load art influenced by the game and customize Nintendoland.

They have a game Art Academy, where players can create art on their Wii U. If players could take this art and post it in different spaces in their Nintendoland parks, or other Wii U games, for a small price even, it would go a long way in making the Wii U into the world you want.

The existence of a game like Disney Infinity is a start. The hope is a Mario title comes to the Wii U with four player online multi-player and Mii Verse communication.

The hope is the Wii U gets a chance to highlight a new, custom, third party title, another company’s game besides Nintendo’s, that uses the Wii U’s capabilities and Nintendo can quit playing around. As for us, we can go to Mii Verse and tell Nintendo what we want.

All we can do is hope. You could also check out an article at Kotaku, The 12 Best Games for the Wii U , and imagine if the Wii U uses all its ability, what will it bring and will it make your Wii U World?
