While it is clear the spring will be here soon, on the East Coast, what sometimes is not apparent is just what people can do when the snow stops and the weather warms. I say you should try to eat.
It is never to over indulge. It is never to mess up your current diet or weight loss plans. It is the taste of the first treat of the spring before you move into the summer. What is the first treat you want to get your hands on?
For me, I know I want to visit a place called Ambler Donuts. First, I want to go to a place I have been before. Later in the spring and summer, I will visit places I have not been before but get acclaim.
They offer a variety of different doughnut flavors and offer real creativity, daily, with great taste for the real doughnut lover. Before Ambler Donuts, in a previous spring, I visited Cookie Confidential, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The combination of cookie, cake pop and, almost any , dessert variety shocks your senses. Cheese steak Cookie, Maple Bacon Cookie, The Cake Pop or their interpretation of the Chocolate Chip Cookie delivers taste your don’t expect but will expect to be both fresh and good every time.
These are two places are what I consider great spring time treat stops. What you might want to eat, for the first time during the spring, might not be a doughnut, or a cookie, but a burger, shake or some other delicious ,subtle weather, treat. What is your treat, for the start, of the spring?
